Refreshments set up in the back of Mary's totally vintage '54 Stickbed truck. A photo op if I've ever seen one. Sit in the back in vintage pink metal chairs with one of our special "Barn" glasses for our beer tasting and BBQ. This is what summertime is all about-friends, family, and fun. ReplyDeleteOhhh if Texas was just not so far away!!! I LOVE the old truck! When my dad was still here, that was his hobby, redoing old vintage pick up trucks! If he were still with us, I know I would have me a pink one with "Girls Gone Junkin" on the side, and maybe some leopard seat covers!!!! That I guess can be my dream car!! ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this green truck on Friday, I loved it. What a great idea to use it for photos. I wish I could have stayed for the entire weekend but I was glad I was able to come for the day. Everyone was so much fun and so friendly. Thank you Linda for all your hard work. I will definitely be back soon.
ReplyDeleteI am soooooooooo bummed. I had originally marked my calendar for a 3-day Grand Opening gig. How did I goof that up? Here I waited until today (Sunday), only to find out I made a big mistake! So sorry to have missed the GO festivities ... dang. Guess I'll just have to wait for Wednesday, when I'm there for KC's workshop. :-)
